Nepali actor Suleman Shankar, popularly known as ‘Iku’, is mourning the loss of his beloved wife, Anjana Shankar, who passed away at the age of 42 on Shrawan 10. A long-time kidney patient, Anjana was rushed to HAMS Hospital after sudden complications, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Though she passed away last week, her final rites were performed only on Friday at the Pashupati Electric Crematorium, in the presence of close family members. The delay in the funeral was due to the couple’s son residing in the United States and requiring time to return home.
Anjana had been battling kidney disease for the past four years. She is survived by her husband Suleman, their son, and a daughter. The Shankar family has expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their condolences and support during this difficult time.
