With the release date approaching, the makers of ‘Sitamol’ have unveiled a new song titled ‘Rato Pachauri’. The film is scheduled for a nationwide release on August 7 (Shrawan 23), and promotional efforts are in full swing.
The song features vocals by Anjana Khatriwada and Ravi Od, with Babul Giri contributing lyrics, composition, and arrangement. The track reflects Nepali folk essence and is expected to deepen the film’s emotional narrative.
Previously released, the film’s trailer garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback. It portrays themes like poverty, unemployment, family conflicts, and government apathy in a humorous satirical tone, striking a chord with the audience.
Posters and earlier songs have also helped generate strong anticipation around the film.
Directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, ‘Sitamol’ stars Saugat Malla and Benisha Hamal in lead roles. The ensemble cast includes Shree Krishna Niraula, Januka Bishwakarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiunwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, RR Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, as well as child actors Karan Nepali and Aradhya Rajyalaxmi DC.
Both Shree Krishna and Januka are making their silver screen debut with this film.
Sitamol is a Tulsi Devi Films Pvt. Ltd. production in collaboration with Juntara Films. The story is co-written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Raj Bahadur Sane.
