Two Actors Reluctant to Join ‘Comedy Darbar’ for Promotion of Upcoming Film

Two actors have shown reluctance to appear on the popular comedy show Comedy Darbar as part of promotions for a film set to release next month.

Among them, one declined to participate, citing that they had already appeared on the show recently, while the other reportedly refused because Comedy Darbar is a rival to a show they are currently involved with.

Following this, the producers—who have already spent crores on the film’s production—are said to be under stress.

The producer has high hopes for the film and is unwilling to miss any promotional platform. However, the actors’ lack of cooperation has reportedly made him worried about the film’s prospects.

The upcoming film is considered to have strong commercial potential upon release next month.

Many who have heard of the situation are calling the actors’ decision childish and irresponsible.

It’s nothing new to expect wide participation from actors in the promotion of a film they’re involved in. Still, such tantrums from actors from time to time continue to frustrate filmmakers.

It is worth noting that the team of Magne Raja, which is set to release on Bhadra 6, has already visited Comedy Darbar for promotion. This is the same show where Miss Pubby, one of the lead actresses, was rumored to have been removed due to repeated retakes.

Professionalism was clearly visible in that case—perhaps this makes the current producer wonder why those two actors couldn’t act more maturely.

Let’s hope the actors reconsider their decision and stand by the producer.
