Actress and producer Neeta Dhungana Adhikari has signed Bipana Thapa for her directorial venture Sukh Dukh. The production team signed her on Wednesday.
Previously, Neeta and Bipana had collaborated in the film Hrashwadeergha. This will be their second collaboration. Bipana expressed her happiness to be part of Sukh Dukh, saying that the story deeply touched her and she is extremely excited to work under Neeta’s direction.
Neeta also shared her joy at being able to cast Bipana in her film. According to her, Bipana plays a significant role in the project.
Neeta had already signed Mithila Sharma and Madan Krishna Shrestha for the film earlier. Director Adhikari stated that information about the remaining cast and technical crew will be shared gradually.
The film is set to begin shooting from the upcoming month of Falgun and will be shot by renowned Indian cinematographers Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal. Under the banner of Neeta Films, the movie is scheduled for release on Phulpati during next year’s Dashain festival. The distribution rights outside the Kathmandu Valley have been acquired by FD Company, while Rich Entertainment will handle the distribution within the Valley.
