For lovers of cakes and bakery items, Bento Cakery has opened in Nepal. The first Nepal outlet of Bento Cakery, which has been quite successful in India, has been launched in Kupandole. The cakery was originally founded in India by experienced entrepreneur Ankur Maskara. Launched in 2024, the brand already has over 125 outlets booked and more than 60 stores operating across India. In Nepal, the brand has been introduced by Naresh Saria and Rekha Saria.
The main highlight of this brand is its 100% pure vegetarian and eggless items. The concept of a live kitchen and a locally adapted menu are other distinctive features. Considering the growing demand in Nepal for affordable, vegetarian, and modern café culture, the operators are planning to open more outlets of this cakery.
The first store in Kupandole was inaugurated by Mansi Agrawal. Known for her success in brand promotion, Mansi expressed her happiness at inaugurating Bento Cakery’s Nepal outlet. She shared that the pure vegetarian and eggless menu attracted her, and she believes the brand’s cakes will be a part of every celebration.
