Newcomer actress Rajshree Thapa has been signed for the film Jadau. Actively working as a model and stylist, Rajshree has previously appeared in a music video for singer Sushant KC. With Rajshree’s entry, the cast lineup for Jadau has been finalized, according to the production team.
Co-directed by Kazi Limbu and Anjan Sharma, the film will feature Mukun Bhusal, Richa Sharma, Niti Shah, Prabhatpal Thakuri, Binod Nyaupane, Gita Adhikari, Sharda Giri, Sandhya Shrestha, Anil Subba, among others. The story centers around an inter-caste love affair and raises a strong voice against social evils. Filming will take place in various locations in Dang and Pyuthan.
Produced jointly by Silver Screen Entertainment and Samishran Movies & Entertainment, the film’s co-producers are Ramraja Subedi, Sumitra Devkota, Gokul KC, and Narayan Shastri.
Under the production management of Buddhi Majhi, cinematography will be handled by Shyam Tamang.
Written by Kazi Limbu, the film will feature music by Arjun Pokharel and Babul Giri, with action direction by Milan Shrestha.
According to Bimala Bhandari, Managing Director of Silver Screen, shooting is scheduled to begin in the first week of September.
