Bollywood actor Dipraj Rana, known for films like Singham Returns, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and Dabangg 3, is set to appear in the upcoming Nepali film Sukha Dukha. The actor, who made his debut in Saathiya (2002) and also appeared in the hit Nepali film Kohinoor, is returning to Nepali cinema after a long gap.
Produced and directed by actress Neeta Dhungana Adhikari, the film’s story reportedly moved Rana to tears. Alongside him, the cast includes Bipana Thapa, Mithila Sharma, and Madan Krishna Shrestha.
Sukha Dukha will begin filming in February and is scheduled for release on Fulpati during Dashain next year.
The project will feature renowned Indian cinematographers Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal. FD Company will handle distribution outside the Kathmandu Valley, while Rich Entertainment will manage distribution within the valley.
