The film “Mohar”, produced under the banner of Film Makers Pvt. Ltd., released nationwide today and has been receiving strong word-of-mouth from audiences.

The film, which opened this morning with an average occupancy, is expected to see increased box office sales following positive audience feedback, according to distributor Karan Shrestha. Produced by Chumban Jung Shahi and written and directed by Om Pratik, the film’s story—centered on the Deuki tradition and the love triangle between Paul Shah, Benisha Hamal, and Niti Shah—has resonated well with viewers.

At a special screening held this morning, most journalists and viewers described “Mohar” as exceeding expectations. Following the positive response, lead actor Pall Shah became emotional.

Speaking at Big Movies in Kathmandu, he said, “Right now, I can’t even speak. For an actor, having a strong director and team is essential. We worked very hard this time, and the audience’s feedback makes me feel that effort has paid off.”

Actress Niti Shah also appeared emotional. While her work in previous films faced criticism, this time she is being praised for her performance. Niti shared that her passion for the industry motivates her to work harder.

Producer Chumban Jung Shahi expressed confidence that the film’s box office performance will grow in the coming days. Actress Benisha Hamal’s work has also been praised, and she, too, admitted feeling emotional after hearing from audiences.
