On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Nita Films has released two distinct mood posters of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Parvati’. Directed by actress and filmmaker Neeta Dhungana Adhikari, the film’s release date has also been announced. The production team has scheduled the film to hit theaters on Magh 1.

In the first poster, Parvati is seen under a yellow umbrella, holding a whistle and a water bottle with a serious expression, reflecting the challenges in her life, her thoughtful nature, and hidden sensitivity. The second poster shows her in traditional village attire with a slight smile and shy demeanor, indicating her childhood innocence, a simple outlook on life, and a hint of melancholy.

The story of the film is written by Neeta Dhungana herself, while the screenplay and dialogues are penned by Shivam Adhikari. Cinematography will be handled by Kavir Lal and Shahid Lal. The production team includes Sabitra Adhikari, Narhari Adhikari, and Pawan Dhungana. According to the producers, ‘Parvati’ is a tale blending humor, emotions, and social messages, portraying life’s colors, the sweetness of relationships, and struggles through the eyes of an ordinary character.

The film is set to begin shooting from Aswin. The production team will soon announce the cast and additional technical crew members. Distribution rights have been assigned to Rich Entertainment and Apple Entertainment within the Kathmandu valley, while FD Company will handle distribution outside the valley.
