The production team of the film ‘Koshedhunga’ has intensified its publicity efforts by releasing a lyrical poem for the movie. The poem is recited by the film’s lead actress, Surakshya Pant. The poem encompasses themes of love, dedication, separation, pain, dreams, and determination. The lyrical video includes footage and still photos from the film.

The poem reflects the fading of dreams, a life lived in compromise, trust within relationships, and the waiting family, subtly hinting at the film’s storyline. Most of the main characters appear in the video, clearly portraying their roles and personalities.

Director Saroj Paudel has stated that the story will be unveiled gradually, piece by piece, rather than revealing it all at once.

Additionally, the production team released three posters featuring the film’s lead cast. The first poster showcases Surakshya Pant, Aryan Sikdel, Praveen Khatriwada, Manjil Kumar, Niti Shah, Richa Sharma, and Dinesh Kafle. The second poster features Praveen Khatriwada, Dinesh Kafle, and Jhaken Bisi. The third poster shows Surakshya Pant carrying a heavy load and Manjil Kumar gazing at someone. All actors appear in character.

A few days ago, the melodious song ‘Bhangera Bhageri’ was released and received a warm response from audiences. Prior to that, the song ‘Natra Bhane Jindagi Byartha Chha’ became a hit on TikTok.

Directed by Saroj Paudel, ‘‘Koshedhunga’’ is set to release on Bhadra 12 (late August). The film is highly anticipated as Paudel is also the director of the acclaimed movie ‘Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi’.

Presented by Nardevi Films and co-produced with Sarangi Films, the movie stars Surakshya Pant, Aryan Sikdel, Richa Sharma, Manjil Kumar, Niti Shah, Praveen Khatriwada, Saroj Khanal, Vishal Pahadi, Hiwala Gautam, Dinesh Kafle, Lokmani Sapkota, among others.

Producers Previl Kandel and Kishor Anurag lead the project with executive producer Dinesh Khadka. The cinematography is by Babu Shrestha, editing by Nakul Khadka, and music composed by Ashish Aviral, Khem Century, and Ridam Kandel. Casting director is Suwalmani Sapkota.

‘Koshedhunga’ will be simultaneously released in over 42 countries, including Nepal. International distribution rights are managed by Seven Seas International, led by Patrick Suvedi and Ramesh Dhakal. This simultaneous multi-country release marks a historic first for Nepali cinema.

The production team hopes that ‘Koshedhunga’  will elevate Nepali films to new international heights.
