Popular TikTok star and influencer Aabha Dhungana has been signed as the lead actress in the upcoming film Kashyap. According to director Dinesh G. Khadka, the team wanted to introduce a fresh face that matched the story’s requirements, and Aabha was finalized after a thorough screen test evaluating her talent and performance.
Aabha is currently undergoing special training for action sequences in the film, with expectations that it will make her role more impactful and realistic.
The film will also mark the debut of child actor Ridwi Khatri on the Nepali silver screen. Selected through auditions, Ridwi secured a significant role in Kashyap after outperforming many competitors. The production team believes her performance will add a new dimension to the film.
“The team is working extremely hard to make the story, music, and all aspects of the film outstanding. I believe Kashyap will not only entertain audiences but also deliver a meaningful message,” said Aabha Dhungana.
Earlier, the production team released the first-look poster featuring action star Sabin Shrestha, which has increased audience curiosity and excitement for the project.
Promising a powerful blend of action, romance, and music, Kashyap is set to be a full-fledged entertainer. Filming is scheduled to commence soon, according to the producers.
