Famous folk and dohori singer Vishnu Majhi’s new Teej song was released on YouTube Wednesday morning. The song titled “Ma Ta Narauri” has been launched as the 21st installment in the Putaliko Bhatti series.
Every year, as Teej approaches, there is eager anticipation for Vishnu Majhi’s songs. This year again, the lyrics and music for her new Teej song have been composed by her husband, Sundarmani Adhikari.
The released song revolves around a daughter’s complaint against her mother who discriminates between her son and daughter. The melody and lyrics of the song are strongly expected to win the hearts of listeners. It appears to be attracting a considerable number of users on TikTok.
This song seems to address criticisms that last year’s song was somewhat weak.
In the video, Lalita Paudel, the model from last year’s song “Aain Ama Yo Teejma,” continues her role. A chorus of 60 dancers is also featured. The choreography is done by Mausam Himal, cinematography by Shambhu Chalise, and editing by Pravin Bhatt.
