The teaser of the short film ‘Phrenia,’ featuring actor and producer Subash Thapa in the lead role, has been released. Subash, known for films like ‘Kohi Mero,’ ‘Tori Lahure,’ ‘Breakfail,’ ‘Sorry La,’ ‘Tathastu,’ and ‘Birkhalai Chinchas,’ has stated that he made this film targeting international film festivals.
Subash, who has been living in the United States for nearly a decade, continues to be actively involved in acting there. He has appeared in music videos like ‘Jindagani,’ ‘Timi Afno,’ ‘Kulchhidchan Phoollai,’ as well as several short films and series.
‘Phrenia’ is a 20-minute short film focusing on the psychological struggle and creativity of a painter.
Suvas himself directed the film, which was produced by Subash Thapa, Suprim Baskota, Narendra Saud, Hemant Neupane, and Bejan Faramarzi. Suvarna Thapa and Narayan Puri are the executive producers.
The cinematography was done by Bejan Faramarzi, and the film was produced by Pegasus Entertainment. Subash also plays the lead role in the short film.
Subash, who produced ‘Birkhalai Chinchas,’ is planning to produce a new Nepali feature film next year.
