The production team of Jerry on Top, slated for release on Ashoj 31 during the Tihar festival, has traveled to Jaipur, India, for the filming of a song sequence. The cast, director, and producer are currently busy shooting in Rajasthan.
Producer Saroj Nyaupane, director Suyog Gurung, actor Anmol KC, and actress Aanchal Sharma are part of the team in India. According to Nyaupane, the shoot in Jaipur was planned to meet the narrative requirements of the film. Recently released photographs feature Anmol and Aanchal in a romantic avatar. The team is scheduled to return to Nepal on Saturday after completing the song shoot.
Produced under the banner of Ananya Films Pvt. Ltd., the movie began promotional activities a few weeks ago following the release of its official poster. Jerry on Top is set for a solo release on Ashoj 31.
Alongside Anmol and Aanchal, the film features Jasita Gurung, popular comedian Kedar Ghimire “Magne Buda,” actor Bhuwan KC, actresses Sushmita Pant and Usha Khadki in prominent roles.
Co-producers Robin Sherchan, Ramkrishna Shrestha, and Deepak Bhandari have partnered with producer Nyaupane in the film’s investment. The story is penned by Hemraj BC. The executive producers are Anuradha Giri and Ishwor Shrestha, with associate producers Navin Ghimire, Bibek Thapa, and Bhawishya Khadka.
The soundtrack features compositions by Kali Prasad Baskota, Jayan J. Waiba, Johan Chamling Rai, and Brijesh Shrestha. The screenplay is written by Bishwas Timilsina, with cinematography by Dulip Regmi.
Hong Kong–based LG Associates has acquired the international distribution rights (excluding Australia), while the Nepal distribution rights are held by Reach Entertainment and FD Company.
