The title song of the film Rimai, directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung, has been released. The movie is set for a nationwide release on Bhadra 20. The song features the lead actors Dayahang Rai, Rishma Gurung, Arpan Thapa, and Gaumaya Gurung.
The song, with lyrics and composition by Deepak Sharma, is sung by Rita KC and Anshu Lama (Ash Bahadur Gurung). Both the audio and video of the song, created in the Gurung cultural setting, are expected to excite audiences. Fans are particularly thrilled as the movie marks the on-screen reunion of Dayahang Rai and Rishma Gurung as the beloved pair Kaji and Maiya after a long time.
Produced under the banner of Gorkha SiranChok & Ligligkot Films in collaboration with Roteping Entertainment, the film also features actors Kavita Ale Magar, Maotse Gurung, Pushkar Gurung, Veermaya Gurung, Veerval Ghale, Devi Gurung, Tek Gurung, and child artists Asim Subba, Prestu Gurung, and Prashna Rana Magar.
The screenplay is written by Upendra Subba and cinematography is by Shailendra Dhwaj Karki. Veerval Ghale serves as the executive producer, while Tika Gurung, Jit Yatri Gurung, and Dun Bahadur Ghale are the producers. Co-producers include Binu Gurung, Roshan Bhattarai, and Rajesh Ghimire.
Music for the film is composed by Deepak Sharma and Thaneshwar Gautam. Kiran Chamling Rai is the chief assistant director, Bishnu Mainali is the production manager, and editing is handled by Mitra D. Gurung.
