Yam Sherpa’s Film ‘MirMire’ Completed

The cinematography of the film ‘MirMire’, directed by Yam Sherpa, has been completed in 35 days. The shooting took place in various locations in Kavre and Chitlang, Makwanpur. Only one song sequence remains to be shot.

“We only have one song left to shoot. We will film it at a convenient time,” said director Sherpa.

‘MirMire’ is set to release on Magh 1. The production team had announced the release date a few days ago to coincide with the birthday of the lead actress, Sirjana Ninglekhu.

Presented by Yarsa Films, the movie stars Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, and Sirjana Ninglekhu in lead roles. Other cast members include Maotse Gurung, Chhulthim Gurung, and Bholaraj Sapkota. Child actors include Shaisa Gauchan, Divisha Pant, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.

Yam Sherpa not only directed the film but also wrote the story. The cinematography was handled by Alok Shukla.

Producers of ‘MirMire’ are Nimu Sherpa, Chongba Lama Sherpa, and Angchiring Sherpa, with co-producers Govind Bohara and Sudip Kunwar. Line producer is Birendra Shahi, while the executive producer is Rohit Kattel, who also manages the distributing company RR Films.

Sudip Kunwar is the chief assistant director, Sanju Thalang Limbu is in charge of makeup, and Dilip Pant is the production controller.

The nationwide distribution of ‘MirMire’ has been entrusted to Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha of RR Films.
