The upcoming film Ram Naam Satya, under the banner of Michael Entertainment House, held its official muhurat ceremony today. The event took place at Banglamukhi Temple in Lalitpur, where a camera worship ritual was performed. Filming will begin in Kathmandu within a few days, with additional shooting planned in Chitwan.
Directed by Michael Chand, the film’s release date has also been announced. Timed to coincide with the Nepali New Year, Ram Naam Satya is set to hit theaters from Chaitra 27. Alongside the muhurat, the makers unveiled the first-look poster featuring lead actor Biraj Bhatta in an intense, action-oriented avatar.

The film stars Biraj Bhatta, Sushil Shrestha, Ayush Singh Thakuri, Supushpa Bhatta, Divya Rayamajhi, Khushi Karki, Sunil Thapa, Arpan Thapa, Kaniz Koirala, Rabi Giri, and Dinesh DC in key roles. Produced by Upendra Shahi and Sweta Bimali, the film also has Kishor Bhatt and Dr. D.R. Upadhyaya as executive producers.
The story and screenplay are penned by director Michael Chand himself. Sanjay Lama serves as the director of photography, with action direction by Shree Shrestha. Music will be composed by Arjun Pokharel, Babul Giri, S.D. Yogi, and Nawaz Ansari, while choreography will be handled by Bikram Swar and Siyon Shrestha. Niraj Thakuri is the creative director, Navin Jung Shahi is the casting director, and Rajendra Moktan is in charge of color grading. The poster photography is by Bibek Basyal, and design by Bijay Basyal.
Moti Karki is the creative producer, with Rajendra Acharya as line producer. Abhimanyu Nirabi and Samaya Thapa are script consultants, Vidushi Thapa is the production designer, Tej Bikram KC is the production manager, and Sanjhana Rai will handle makeup.
Speaking at the muhurat, director Michael Chand described Ram Naam Satya as his “dream project,” appearing emotional while addressing the gathering. Lead actor Biraj Bhatta stated that this is his next film after 12 Gaun and praised the powerful storyline. Actor Sushil Shrestha also expressed that the narrative is excellent and voiced his hope for the audience’s support.
