Sahara Films has officially announced the production of “Kaha Gayau Timi…” on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami.
The film will be directed by Firoz Timalsena and will belong to the romance genre. Although the title suggests a love story, the production team has not revealed further details about the storyline.
The title announcement poster, featuring dark clouds, a solitary house, and a lone tree, hints at a narrative centered around lost love. The use of black and red colors also suggests a tale woven with suspicion, love, hope, separation, and reunion.
The story will be written by Jeevan Acharya, with music composed by Prakash Nepali.
Director Firoz Timalsena began his creative career as a television host before transitioning into filmmaking. He previously worked as a reality producer and episode director for Nepal Idol Season 1, and also served as the founder, creative head, and chief AD of The Voice of Nepal. Additionally, he is an actor—having appeared in “Darpan Chhaya–2”—as well as a singer.
Professionally an engineer, Timalsena has been residing in the United States in recent years. “Kaha Gayau Timi…” will mark his directorial debut.
The cast and producers have not yet been announced. Director Timalsena stated that details about the filming schedule, release plans, and production team will be revealed soon.
Announcing the film via social media, he wrote:
“Words and emotions are like a needle carefully kept at home, only to go missing when needed. Today, as I begin a new journey through film direction, I feel both happiness and responsibility. I express my gratitude to the entire team and promise to share more about the film in the coming days.”
