Actor Dhiraj Magar has been accused by the producers of ‘Airi’ at the Producers’ Association, demanding compensation of more than 140 million rupees. A total of 147,951,953 rupees has been claimed against him.
On Bhadra 2, Kamal Bahadur Ale, on behalf of the production company Multimat Pvt. Ltd., filed the complaint against Dhiraj at the association. Association president Nawal Khadka confirmed this.
The complaint states that since Dhiraj did not attend the film’s shooting on the agreed schedule, the film suffered losses equal to the mentioned amount.
Magar was contracted for this film for a remuneration of 1 million rupees, of which 400,000 rupees was provided in advance by the producers.
Before filing the complaint at the Producers’ Association, a legal notice was sent to Dhiraj through a lawyer, but he did not respond, according to the statement.
Although Magar had agreed to dedicate a total of 41 days for the shooting of ‘Airi,’ he gave only 16 days, as alleged by the producers.
After the complaint, president Khadka said that both parties would be called to the association for reconciliation, and if an agreement is not reached, both parties will proceed legally.

Where did Dhiraj go instead of coming to the shooting?
Dhiraj, who debuted in Nepali cinema with ‘Intu Mintu Londonma,’ had maintained the image of a humble actor. He had not been involved in any kind of controversy until now. This complaint has surprised many in the film circle.
So, where did Dhiraj go instead of coming to the shooting for which such a large claim has been filed against him?
According to information received by Mero Picture, the shooting of this film, said to be a big-budget project planned for release in Nepali as well as other languages, has not progressed significantly. Although the team stayed in Dhorpatan for a month for shooting, only a few days of filming were completed.
It is said that due to the confusion in the shooting schedule, Dhiraj left this film and went to work on the shooting of ‘Maijharo.’ One of the reasons is also considered to be that ‘Airi’ did not start filming on time. Similarly, the shooting schedule of ‘Maitighar’ is also said to have affected this.
Attempts to contact actor Magar regarding this matter were unsuccessful.
