The film Kaji, directed by Laxman Rizal, has had its auspicious inaugural ceremony. On Friday, a camera and script puja was held at the Dakshinkali Temple. Following the ceremony, the production team has departed for Syangja to begin filming.
According to director Laxman Rizal, shooting will start on Bhadra 8 (Sunday). He returns to directing after approximately eight years. Rizal mentioned that he decided to return because he found the script he had been looking for. He has previously directed films such as Kasam, Dhuwā Yo Nasā, Alvida, and Kaira, and produced December Falls and Ganpati.
Produced under the banner of R&R Production, this social love story is being produced by Ram Prasad Rizal. He aims to improve on the shortcomings seen in his previous films and make this one excellent. For filming, a village set was constructed in Syangja at a cost of several lakhs.
The film will feature actors such as Bipin Karki, Keki Adhikari, and Garima Sharma. The production team plans to gradually announce the rest of the cast. The story is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj, while cinematography is handled by Chintanraj Bhandari. The music is composed by Kaliprasad Baskota. The film will be distributed by Sunil Manandhar’s Shriram Balaji Films.
