The official trailer of the film Chitthi, produced by journalist Kamala Joshi under the banner of Era Production, has been released on the OSR Digital YouTube channel. The film, blending comedy, horror, and suspense, is set to be released nationwide from Bhadra 20. Kubera Distribution will handle its release.
Directed and written by Madhav Raj Kharel, the film features actors such as Khadga Bahadur Pun ‘Khabpu’, Sanjit Bhandari, Gopal Dhakal ‘Chhande’, Nabaraj Thapa, Pravan Bhusal, Muskan Lama, Kanchan Chalise, Mohan Nirola, Shantipriya, Shridev Bhattarai, Namrata Kharel, Rajan Thapa, Rashmi Bhatt, Muna Nirola, Kavindra Tripathi, Purushottam Sanu, Soma Khatri, Pralhad Kharel, Devil Singh Rajput, Samir Lama, Raju Karki, and Rajju Gurung, among others. Khadga Bahadur Pun is noted for his performances as an organic comedian.
The production team has stated that the film aims to deliver social messages alongside entertainment, combining comedy, horror, and suspense.
Previously released songs such as Tuteko Tara and Sindurko Rang have already garnered attention, and the trailer has further piqued audience interest. The producers are confident that Chitthi showcases strong performances, an original story, and an engaging presentation.
