Workshop of ‘Malati Mangale’ Underway, Participation of Vijay, Barsha, and Other Artists

 The workshop of the Nepali film Malati Mangale, which is set to begin shooting from the second week of Bhadra, is currently being held in Kathmandu.

The workshop is being conducted under the coordination of screenplay and dialogue writer Sanyog Guragain. Actors Vijay Baral, actress Barsha Raut, Suvarn Thapa, Maksam Gaudel, Prakash Ghimire, Sarita Giri, Sushma Niraula, Sunil Tamang, Umesh Sunam, Shaku Shah, Suchitra Upreti, Dinesh Jung Thakuri, Rijan Pariyar, Sagar Bhattarai, and other artists are participating.

During the workshop, actor Bijay Baral expressed his belief that the film will present the stories of real life in Nepali society in an engaging way.

He said, “This workshop has greatly helped me understand the character more closely. The audience will feel as though they are watching their own story on screen.” Likewise, actress Barsha Raut shared that she has taken the workshop as an opportunity to mold herself into the character. She said, “This film is connected to family emotions. Through the workshop, I am getting the chance to delve deeper into the character.”

Malati Mangale will be directed by Praku Pandey. The story has been written by Pandey himself, while the screenplay and dialogue are prepared by Guragain. According to executive producer Sagar Gyawali, the filming will take place in various locations of Tanahun and Syangja districts.

The film is being produced under the banner of Rani Music International Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Uni Entertainment. Popular singer Ramkrishna Dhakal is the producer, while Rabin Shrestha and Babu Subedi are the co-producers. The team includes cinematographer Mahesh Poudel, editor Romi Tandukar, colorist Krishna Bhandari, lyricists Rajendra Thapa, Anand Adhikari, Gopal Adhikari, and music composers Hari Lamsal, Rajanraj Siwakoti, and Ujjwal Sagar.

According to director Pandey, Malati Mangale will be a family-oriented love story.
