The trailer of the Nepali film “Reemai”, directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung, has been released. The trailer highlights village life, love, struggle, and social realities.
The nearly three-and-a-half-minute trailer features Dayahang Rai in a rural setting, where he is seen struggling between love and family. His on-screen chemistry with Rishma Gurung adds an emotional touch, while the roles of Arpan Thapa and Gaumaya Gurung make the story more engaging.
Through the trailer, director Gurung has hinted that “Rimai” portrays the clash between tradition, culture, and modern lifestyle. The dialogues, cinematography, and background music draw audiences into the rural atmosphere. After the poster and teaser had already created a buzz, the trailer has further raised excitement among viewers.
Presented by Gorkha Siranchok & Ligligkot Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Roteping Entertainment, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Arpan Thapa, Rishma Gurung, Gaumaya Gurung, Kavita Ale Magar, Mao Tse Gurung, Pushkar Gurung, Veer Maya Gurung, Veerbal Ghale, DB Gurung, Tek Gurung, along with child actors Asim Subba, Prestu Gurung, and Prashna Rana Magar.
The screenplay, written by poet and director Upendra Subba, has been shot by Shailendra Dhoj Karki. Veerbal Ghale is the executive producer, while Tika Gurung, Jit Yatri Gurung, and Dun Bahadur Ghale are the producers. Binu Gurung, Roshan Bhattarai, and Rajesh Ghimire are the co-producers.
The film features music by Deepak Sharma and Thaneshwar Gautam, with Kiran Chamling Rai as chief assistant director, Bishnu Mainali as production manager, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
