“Janai Haraeko Manche: Threads of Relationships” Enters Second Week

The film “Janai Haraeko Manche: Threads of Relationships” has officially entered its second week of theatrical screening from today, supported by strong word-of-mouth.

Addressing the struggles faced by ordinary middle-class Nepalis, the film has resonated positively with audiences. It tells the story of a son’s relentless efforts to lift his parents out of financial hardship—a narrative that viewers have found deeply relatable.

“Our film has been receiving overwhelming appreciation from audiences. We are confident that it will perform even better in its second week,” said director Himal Neupane. “With such positive word-of-mouth, we believe the film will continue to grow.”

Videos of emotional viewers shedding tears while watching the film have surfaced on social media.

The ensemble cast includes Vijay Baral, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Sushank Mainali, Bhola Raj Sapkota, Gaurav Pahari, Riar Rai, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa, among others.

Directed by Himal Neupane, the film’s associate director is “Prem Geet 3” actor Manish Raut.

Produced under the banner of Paperclip, the film is backed by producers Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane. The team of executive producers includes Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Sibakoti, R.K. Manandhar, C.R. Basnet, Philip D’Silva, and James Maharajan.

The soundtrack features compositions by Thaneshwar Gautam, Arjun Pokharel, S.D. Yogi, and Prashant Sibakoti. Cinematography is by Navin Gurung (DOP) and Krishna Pariyar.

The story, screenplay, and dialogues were written by Bhanubhakta Dhakal. Dinesh Bahadur Raut served as chief assistant director, with Tarkaraj Neupane, Rabindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Aakash K.C. as assistant directors. Laxmanraj Paudel worked as production controller, while distribution was handled by Govinda Shahi’s Kafia Films.
