The trailer of the film Abhimanyu: Chapter 1 has been released. The film, scheduled to release on Bhadra 27 (September 12), had its trailer officially launched today by the production team.
The trailer reveals the storyline of the film, revolving around a fake love affair, kidnapping, and ransom. It clearly portrays the tale of a young man who pretends to be a lover, kidnaps the same person, and demands ransom from her father.
It highlights how a homeless young man goes to any extent for money. The trailer also explores the psychology of people who, when it comes to money—whether earned through illicit activities or hard work—cast a greedy eye and even support wrongdoing.
The cast includes Kameshwor Chaurasia, Sarita Giri, Gaumaya Gurung, Laxmi Bardewa, Shishir Bangdel, Kiran Shrestha, Prakash Dahal, among others.
Abhimanyu is set to release on Bhadra 27 (September 12). Its Hindi version will be released on Asoj 6 (September 22) and will have a worldwide release.
The film tells the story of a person who gets trapped in the labyrinth of greed for money and struggles to break free.
The cast also features Sushma Niraula alongside the main actors. The film, presented by Seven Seas Cinema, is directed by Sushant Gautam.
Written by Mukesh Khanal, the film’s creative director is Madan Thapa.
The producers are Binod Paudel and Gunjan Giri, with Ramesh Chaulagain and Hari Shrestha as co-producers. Executive producers include Bishal Lama, Hari Moktan, Krishna Bhattarai, Nirajan Luitel, and Sandesh Shrestha.
Jeevan Shakya serves as the line producer, Manoj Shrestha handles VFX, Supreme Parajuli is in charge of color grading, Madan Ghimire is the editor, and Sharad Mahato is the director of photography (DOP).
