The teaser of the film ‘Jerry on Top’, released last Monday, has received an overwhelming response. On Buda Subba Digital’s YouTube channel alone, it has been viewed over 1.5 million times.
The teaser has secured the top position on Nepal’s most-discussed film trailer trending list on YouTube and has topped the “Movie Trending Charts” in over a dozen other countries. Its international popularity signals promising prospects for global distribution.
Numerous teaser reviews and reaction videos on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook have praised the film as highly anticipated. Featuring a story connected to Mount Everest expeditions, audiences have particularly appreciated the visuals, acting, background music, and VFX.
Presented by Saroj Nyaupane and directed by Suyog Gurung, ‘Jerry on Top’ will be released on October 31. The film stars popular young actors including Anmol KC, Aanchal Sharma, Jasita Gurung, Kedar Ghimire ‘Magnebuda’, Bhuvan KC, Usha Upreti, and Surakshya Panta. Anmol KC expressed gratitude for the love and support received from fans.
The film is written by Hemraj B.C., with music by Kaliprasad Banskota, Jayant J Waiba, Johan Chamling Rai, and Brijesh Shrestha, and cinematography by Dulip Regmi. Distribution rights in Nepal have been acquired by Reach Entertainment and FD Company. With a high production budget and frontline star cast, ‘Jerry on Top’ is regarded as one of the most anticipated films of the year.
