The Nepali film ‘Shivansh: Chapter–1’ is scheduled to release on November 13. The production team announced the official release date along with the poster, which features Lord Shiva with his vehicle, the bull, climbing Mount Kailash. The significance of the trident on the bull’s forehead has not been disclosed by the makers.
Shot around Pokhara, the film is currently in post-production. Presented by Anjan Cinema Production House, the movie marks the directorial debut of Santosh Kumar Atreya, with Anjan KC as producer.
Praveen Khatiwada, Tej Giri, and Rusha Nyaupaa play the lead roles, supported by actors including Bikash Joshi, Bimala Limbu, Pradeepkumar Chaudhary, Sabir Churoute, Uday Kumar Subba, and Tika Niraula. The story is written by producer Anjan KC, with screenplay by Bart Limbu and script doctoring by Sulakshan Bharti.
Co-producers include Shobha Bhandari and Anis KC Bogati, with executive producer Sambhu Thapa. Cinematography is by Sharad Mahato, music by New Bajracharya and Rajanraj Shivakoti, and songs by Biplav Pratik and Rajanraj Shivakoti. Vocal performances feature Rajanraj Shivakoti, Milan Newar, and Sameeksha Adhikari.
Stunt direction is by Milan Shrestha, choreography by Bikram Chohan, VFX supervision by Viraj Khadka, and VFX production by Aadesh Subba (Godrej Pictures). Key crew members include Bart Limbu (assistant director), Pratik Chaudhary (art director/production designer), Milan Manandhar (production manager), Kamal Mishra (costume), Tulsa Limbu (makeup), and Yuvahang Rai (poster photography).
Post-production is handled by Chautari, and digital distribution in Nepal will be by Digital Cinema Nepal (DCN).
