Singer Yash Kumar has released the music video of his new song “Halka Halka”. The video, presented as a musical cinema, was launched during a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday.
Veteran film director Tulsi Ghimire, who attended the event as the chief guest, expressed his admiration for Yash Kumar’s working style. He said, “I am also making a comeback in Nepali film direction after a long time. Being part of today’s event gave me an opportunity to learn a lot.” He also expressed delight in seeing singer Smita, who came from Kalimpong, Darjeeling, establish herself in Nepali music, adding that her future looks promising.
The song’s lyrics and composition are by Yash Kumar himself, while the arrangement and mixing were done by Deves Rai. The video features Yash Kumar and Smita in lead roles, along with Rajej Ghatani, Dipendra Sonam, Sugat Karanjit, Tulasa Limbu, and Sudip Sonam. The video was directed by Yash Kumar himself.
Shot by renowned DOP Hari Humagai, the video has been edited and color-graded by Bikash Dhamala, with makeup by Tulasa Limbu. The song’s music video has been released through Yash Kumar’s official YouTube channel.
