Jari–2: Song of Chyabrung, set to release on Ashoj 3, has released a new song.
The song, titled Amlari, features a duet by Avigya Ghimire and Bikash Limbu. It is written by Sushma Sigdel and composed by Sushant Gautam.
The film is written and directed by Upendra Subba, and produced by Ram Babu Gurung, Madhu Mijar, and Jeevan Gurung.
It stars Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, and Vijay Baral in the lead roles. The cast also includes Buddhi Tamang, Richa Sharma, Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Mao Tse Gurung, Manhang Lawati, Bishnu Moktan, Kamalmani Nepal, Anil Subba, Rekha Limbu, Bedana Rai, and Sirjana Ninglekhu.
Produced under the banners of Baasuri Films and Kabaddi Films, the project is considered one of the most commercially promising films of the year.
The first installment, Jari, was a blockbuster in 2080 BS, grossing more than 170 million rupees at the Nepali box office. For that reason, Jari–2 has been listed among the most highly anticipated films since its announcement.
There are strong expectations that the sequel will repeat the success of the original.
