On the occasion of director Krisha Chaulagain’s birthday, the film Paras has been officially announced. The announcement was made during a program on Wednesday. The story and direction will be handled by Krisha herself.
The film will be produced under the investment of her brother, Bishal Chaulagain, and written by Sachin Ladia. According to the producers, the film’s cinematography will be done by Purushottam Pradhan. Krisha and Pradhan have previously collaborated on Aincho Paincho and Pitambar, making this their third project together. This also marks Bishal’s third collaboration with the team.
Produced under the banner of KP Films, the project is set to begin shooting in Falgun. At the announcement event held at a party palace in Kalopul, Krisha revealed that the film will blend action and romance.
“Regarding Paras, Sachin Ladia began the writing process after arriving in Nepal for the first time. That is all I can reveal for now,” Krisha said, adding that details about the cast and technical crew will be shared gradually.
She further noted, “Cinematography will be done by Purushottam dai, while I will be directing.” Producer Bishal Chaulagain explained that he wanted to announce the film on his sister’s birthday. He also stated that the mistakes made in Pitambar will be corrected in Paras. “Last year we gifted her a film. Even during the shoot, we celebrated her birthday. Everyone knows what that experience was like,” he added.
Tourism State Minister Arun Kumar Chaudhary attended the event as the chief guest, extending birthday wishes to Krisha along with best wishes for the new project. The production team has not yet announced a release date.
Krisha’s directorial debut Aincho Paincho was considered a critical success.
