The much-awaited film “Jari 2: Song of Chyabrung”, which was initially set to release on Constitution Day (Ashoj 3), has announced a new release date. Director Upendra Subba stated that the postponement was necessary due to insufficient time for promotion caused by the recent Gen-Z movement.

The second poster includes Dayahang and Miruna along with Buddhi Tamang and Vijay Baral, hinting that the film will explore the rich culture and heritage of the Limbu community.
Produced under the banners of Bansuri Films and Kabaddi Films, the movie is backed by renowned filmmaker Ram Babu Gurung, Madhu Mijar, and Jivan Gurung. The cast includes Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Vijay Baral, Buddhi Tamang, Richa Sharma, Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Mao Tse Gurung, Manhang Lawati, Bishnu Moktan, Kamalmani Nepal, Anil Subba, Rekha Limbu, Bedana Rai, and Sirjana Ninglekhu.
Subba’s directorial debut “Jari” was a blockbuster in 2080 BS, earning over 170 million rupees at the Nepali box office. As a result, “Jari 2” has been among the most anticipated films since its announcement.
