The teaser of Nepali film Soltini has been officially released. Scheduled for nationwide release on Kartik 6 (Bhai Tika day), the teaser highlights the love story between actor Prakash Saput and actress Pariksha Limbu, while portraying the harsh realities of society and bold life decisions.
Earlier, four different posters of the film were unveiled, indicating that the storyline is rooted in themes of love, culture, and rural settings. The newly released teaser reinforces this narrative, visually capturing rural lifestyles, romance, and social struggles.
Directed by Arjun Subedi, the film stars Prakash Saput and Pariksha Limbu alongside Wilson Bikram Rai, Sabbu Gurung, Rabindra Jha, Prakash Ghimire, Prem Subba, Kavita Ale, Sundar Dhital, and Sujan Khatiwada, among others.
A notable highlight of the film is the involvement of Harka Sampang Revolution and the Team as executive producers, led by Dharan Mayor Harka Sampang.
Shot across scenic locations including Ilam Bazaar, Biblayante, Kanyam, Birtamod, Pathari, and Bhojpur, Soltini carries a strong social message against inhuman practices and caste-based discrimination, according to director Subedi. At its heart, however, the film remains a love story between its two central characters.
The music is composed by Prashant Siwakoti and Hercules Basnet, with cinematography by Sushan Prajapati. The story and screenplay are written by Arjun Subedi and Kumar Bhattarai.
The film is produced by Regina Bist and Sansar Chaulagain, with co-producers Roshan Chaulagain, Basanta Katuwal, and Sujan Adhikari. Posters and publicity design were created by Royal Bhimsen and Trident Concept. T Flux Films will handle nationwide distribution, while digital rights have been acquired by OSR Digital.
