The trailer of Maitighar, slated for release on October 29 (Phulpati day of Dashain), has officially been unveiled. The trailer blends comedy, romance, separation, and cultural elements, and has been described as powerful and engaging.
Directed by Milan Tamang, the film is based on a family-oriented storyline. It features an ensemble cast including Dhiraj Magar, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Shyama Shri Sherpa, Kedar Prasad Ghimire, Prakash Saput, Buddhi Tamang, Shishir Wangel, Yubaraj Lama, and Rajani Gurung, among others.
Produced by Rabin Sherchan and Dhiraj Tamang, the project has Ishwar Shrestha and Niraj Katuwal as executive producers. Written by Ramsharan Pathak, the film boasts cinematography by Sushan Prajapati and editing by Surendra Paudel, with Ankit Tiwari as associate editor.
Under the banner of Rohit Adhikari Films Pvt. Ltd., Maitighar highlights strong comedic elements through actor Kedar Prasad Ghimire’s performance and brings Tamang culture to the forefront with authenticity and depth.
