
The first-look poster of the upcoming Nepali film Maan Binako Dhan, directed and produced by Tank Budhathoki, has been officially released. The poster features lead actor Ashok Darji in a school uniform, accompanied by the tagline “A story from zero to hero.” The visuals suggest that the film will portray Darji’s real-life journey from his past to the present.
The film is scheduled for nationwide release on Kartik 21. Alongside Ashok Darji, the cast includes Saroj Khanal, Santosh Pant, Rama Thapaliya, Nita Dhungana, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ramesh Bishwakarma, Rabindra Jha, Parvati Adhikari, Utsav Sapkota, A.R. Budhathoki, Shankar Shrestha, Samragyee Thapa, Bina Raut, Babu Parajuli, Raksha Shrestha, Priyanka Jha, Vinay Adhikari, Aryan Nepal, Vijay Dangol, among others.
Ashok Darji first rose to fame with his debut song “Man Binako Dhan Thulo Ki Dhan Binako Man”, which dramatically changed his life. The song was composed by Tank Budhathoki. Currently, Darji is pursuing his studies in Grade 9 in Kathmandu.
The socially themed film has been penned by Tank Budhathoki, with screenplay and dialogues by Shivam Adhikari. The film is produced by Bishnu Maya Mainali, with Sapana Sharma serving as executive producer. Co-producers include G.P. Sangrola, Bibek Nepal, and Bijaya Pandey.
Man Binako Dhan features music by Tank Budhathoki, cinematography by Saurav Lama, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Ramji Lamichhane, editing by Mitra D. Gurung, and associate direction by Nawaraj Sharma. The film will be distributed by Apple Entertainment, Reach Entertainment, and FD Company.
