Ananya Films, under the presentation of Saroj Nyaupane, has unveiled the new song “Kurauni” from the highly anticipated movie ‘Jerry: On Top’. Scheduled for release on October 31, the song features lyrics, music, and vocals by Kali Prasad Baskota, with singer Somia Baraily providing vocal accompaniment.
The music video features lead actors Anmol KC, Jasita Gurung, Anchal Sharma, and Kedar Prasad Ghimire in prominent appearances. Jasita Gurung is showcased in traditional Sherpa attire, highlighting the rich cultural heritage. The video also captures scenes in Mustang, where locals warmly welcome Anmol, Anchal, and Kedar, offering viewers an authentic experience of the location.
Produced with investment from Bhavishya Khadka, Robin Sherchan, Ram Krishna Khadka, Deepak Bhandari, and Ananya Nyaupane, the film lists Anirudra Giri and Ishwar Shrestha as executive producers. Navin Ghimire and Vivek Thapa serve as associate producers, while Moti Karki holds the role of creative producer.
The screenplay is by Bishwas Timsina, and the music composition features Kali Prasad Baskota, SD Yogi, Jayen J Waiva, Brijesh Shrestha, and John Chamling Rai. The choreography of the song video is by Kiran Thapa. Directed by Suyog Gurung, the film features cinematography by Dulip Regmi and editing by Nimesh Shrestha.
