
The trailer of the Nepali film ‘Jerry: On Top’, starring Anmol KC, has been officially released. The unveiling took place on Friday at a special event held at Labim Mall, Kathmandu, attended by lead actors Bhuvan KC, Usha Khadgi, Jasita Gurung, Anchal Sharma, director Suyog Gurung, and the film’s production team.
Due to health issues, lead actor Anmol KC was unable to attend the event.
The 3-minute 40-second trailer centers around Mount Everest climbing sequences while presenting a blend of romance, drama, emotion, and adventure. Scenes shot in Everest region, Mustang, and Kathmandu make the film visually rich and engaging.
The trailer highlights familial bonds, love, and betrayal. A key scene shows Anmol’s character advancing towards the Himalayas with the goal of surpassing his father, Bhuvan KC, emphasizing the adventurous and inspirational side of the film.
The trailer also combines themes of love, betrayal, life-and-death struggles, and the risks of a mountainous journey, adding deep emotional impact to the narrative.
The story and screenplay are written by Hemraj BC, while producers include Robin Sherchan, Ram Krishna Shrestha, and Deepak Bhandari, presented under Saroj Nyaupane. Director Suyog Gurung enhances the visual storytelling style he previously showcased in Farki Farki.
Jerry: On Top is produced as a romantic drama. The earlier teaser received a positive response from audiences. The film is scheduled for release on Asoj 31 (October 17), just in time for the Tihar festival.
