Under the banner of Rehan Productions, the new Nepali film ‘Muglan’ is set to release on Poush 10 (December 25) across Nepal. The production team unveiled the film’s first official poster (first look) on Monday, announcing the release date.
The poster features actors Prabhat Pal and Smarika Dhakal in traditional rural attire. Prabhat is seen in a posture as if playing a flute, while Smarika appears shy and bashful—hinting at a romantic storyline between the two. The visuals reflect the film’s focus on Nepali village life and the backdrop of migration (foreign employment).
The film stars Prabhat Pal, Smarika Dhakal, Shri Shivanshu, Dinesh DC, Moti Subedi, Ramchandra Adhikari, Kh.B.Pu., Raju Raj Soni, Rashmi Bhatt, Jeevan Gautam, and Sabin Bastola, among others.
Ashish Dhakal has written and directed the film. Goman Singh is the producer, while Rita Chaudhary is the co-producer. The film’s editor is Tara Thapa ‘Kimbhey’, action directors are Jai Bisht and Ram Guru, and background music (BGM) is by Rhythm Kandel.
