
The upcoming Nepali film ‘Barishtha Balram’, set to release on Kartik 6 (October 23) during Bhai Tika, is currently the center of attention. The song ‘Nyauli Banai Ma’ and the film’s trailer have captured the audience’s hearts.
The song has gained massive popularity on social media, especially TikTok. Within just two weeks of its release, it has garnered over 5.29 million views on YouTube, highlighting its widespread appeal.
The lyrics and music are by Prashant Shivakoti, while the melodious vocals are by Prashant and Shantishree Pariyar.
In the song, Bijay Baral and Samriddhi Aryal portray a couple in love, agreeing to spend their lives together despite doubts and uncertainties. Bijay’s performance and dance have received significant praise, contributing greatly to the film’s promotion.
The film’s trailer has also received an enthusiastic response. Released four days ago, it has accumulated over 1.396 million views.
Audiences have particularly enjoyed the on-screen clash between Dayahang Rai and Bijay Baral, appreciating Dayahang’s unique look and the strong performances of both actors.
Given the popularity of the song and trailer, ‘Barishtha Balram’ is expected to perform well at the box office.
The film is directed by Surendra Paudel and produced under Brishabh Siddhi Entertainment in collaboration with Anvi Films. The cast includes Dayahang Rai, Vijay Baral, Samriddhi Aryal, Pashupati Rai, Maotse Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Rambabu Regmi, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary (PK), among others.
The story and editing are by Director Paudel, with the screenplay written by Mahesh Dawadi. Producers are Ashish H. Tamang and Shriraj Karki, with executive producers Pradeep G. Dhami and Pushkar B. Ghimire, and line producer Ram Bist.
