Prior to the trailer, the production team released two songs—one a romantic number and the other a traditional Sakela dance song, both of which have created significant hype among audiences.

The film, based on Rai’s own story, was primarily shot in Ilam–Panchthar in eastern Nepal. Produced under the Takme Production banner, the cast also includes Buddhi Tamang, Sunil Thapa, Pushkar Gurung, Abhyaraj Baral, Maotse Gurung, Kavita Ale, Rajani Gurung, Prem Subba, Uday Subba, Anil Subba, Bhupendra Lingden, and Bishal Limbu.

Music for the film is composed by Anmol Gurung and Torempahang Rai, while vocals are provided by Rajesh Payal Rai, Jhuma Limbu, Melina Rai, and Asmita Adhikari. Cinematography is by Saurabh Lama. RR Films will handle the film’s distribution, and OSR has acquired the digital rights.

‘Maijharo’ is set to release nationwide on Kartik 7 (October 24) during Tihar’s Bhai Tika festival.
