The upcoming Nepali film ‘Soltini’, set to release on Kartik 6 (Bhaitika day), has unveiled its new song ‘Bachunjel Po’.
The song is written and composed by Prashant Shivakoti, with vocals by Prashant Shivakoti and Jhuma Limbu. The melodious and emotionally rich track aims to reflect the film’s heartfelt narrative.
Soltini tells an intercaste love story, highlighting social discrimination, inequality among communities, and the struggles faced in love.
Directed by Arjun Subedi, the film stars Prakash Saput and Pariksha Limbu in lead roles, alongside Wilson Bikram Rai, Rabindra Jha, Sundar Dhital, Sujan Khatri, Sabu Gurung, Prakash Ghimire, Prem Subba, and Kavita Ale, among others.
The previously released trailer had already generated high audience interest, presenting a love story with a social message. This positions Soltini not only as an entertaining film but also as a project that seeks to raise social awareness.
As part of the film’s promotional campaign, the cast will participate in Deusi-Bhailo programs across various cities in Nepal. The schedule includes Damak, Jhapa on Kartik 2, Dharan, Sunsari on Kartik 3, Pokhara, Kaski on Kartik 4, and Kathmandu on Kartik 5.
According to project coordinator Sujan Khatri, these events aim to interact directly with the audience, share positive energy about the film, and promote Nepali cinema within a cultural setting.
