The release date for the film PR, directed by Sobhit Basnet, has been officially announced. The production team has set the film’s release for Mangsir 26, coinciding with Kag Tihar celebrations.
Produced under the Salone Salina Films banner, the movie features lead performances by R.A. Suraj Paudel, Vinita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Pooja Chaudhary, Ashma Adhikari, Vimala Khatri, Max, Ganesh Budhathoki, Krishna Thapa, and Naveen Ghyale. The film revolves around an emotional story of love, struggle, and migration.
The presentation of the film is handled by Ranjit Sah and Santosh Tiwari, while the producers are Laxman Sapkota and Pradeep Dahal.
According to the production team, PR focuses on the dreams, struggles, and realities of Nepali youth going abroad.
The film’s editing is done by Bande Prasad, with writing by Ganesh Budhathoki. Ramji Lamichhane directed the dance sequences, and music is composed by Manas Raj and Bhim B.C.
Director Sobhit Basnet stated that audiences will find romance, action, and social messages in the film. He added, “We are presenting PR as a story of Nepal, portraying the dreams and struggles of Nepali youth. We believe viewers will experience a unique flavor.”
The cinematography is by Saurav Manandhar and Saurav Lama, and distribution has been taken up by RR Films.
