Actress Puja Chand has arrived in Nepal from the United States to promote her upcoming film “Paran,” which is set to release on Kartik 14. She landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 11:10 a.m. on Monday, where she was welcomed by the film’s director, Dipak Acharya.
Speaking briefly with the media upon her arrival, Chand shared that she spent her 18-hour-long journey watching clips of Paran on her phone. She also mentioned that she will be staying in Nepal for about one month to actively participate in the film’s promotional campaign.
“Paran is a very special film for me. I’ll be fully dedicating my time to its promotion. Since it’s based on a family story, I believe it will touch everyone’s heart,” Chand said. “It’s also a great joy for me to have had the opportunity to work with Nir Shah sir.”
The film marks the directorial debut of ‘Sakkigoni’ fame Dipak Prasad Acharya (Kaku) and features a star-studded cast including Nir Shah, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Mahesh Tripathi, Anjana Baraili, Prabin Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseli Yonghang, Babin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Seema Kafle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subrata Raj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child actor Aryadeep Acharya.
The film features music by Rhythm Kandel, songs sung by Pramod Kharel, Pushpan Pradhan, and Rachana Rimal, cinematography by Shivaram Shrestha, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
Produced under the banner of Bioscope Cinema Pvt. Ltd., Paran is backed by Golchha Group and Prisma Group, two of Nepal’s most prominent business conglomerates. Their involvement has significantly raised public expectations for the film.
