‘Pariwartan’ Begins Strong — Foreign Screening Rights Sold in Qatar, UAE, and Japan

The much-anticipated Nepali film Pariwartan, directed by Bijay Kerung, has begun selling its international screening rights at a rapid pace.

Following the teaser release, the film has already been sold in Qatar, the UAE, and Japan.

According to producer Deepak Sibakoti, the screening rights for Qatar and the UAE have been purchased by Ashish Entertainment, while Yuna Entertainment has acquired the rights for Japan.

He added that the film’s distribution rights have already been sold in Japan, the UAE, and Qatar, and negotiations are ongoing with other countries.
“The rights have been sold in three countries so far. We’re in talks with others as well, and we’ll be able to announce more details in a few days,” said producer Sibakoti.

With the international rights being sold, excitement among both audiences and distributors for Pariwartan has increased notably.
According to director Kerung, the film aims to take Nepali cinema to a new level. Through its teaser, audiences have already sensed the film’s strong message of national change.

The production team released the teaser a few days ago to coincide with the Chhath festival.

The film delivers a powerful message against corruption, social disorder, injustice, and oppression — encouraging young people to start thinking about the nation’s future.

Actor Sushil Shrestha appears as an action hero in the film, and his popularity has surged since the teaser’s release.

Written by producer Deepak Siwakoti himself, the film features performances by Sushil Shrestha, Anjana Baraili, Karishma Manandhar, Buddhi Tamang, Subash Meche, Saroj Khanal, Hemant Budhathoki, Pukar Bhattarai, Shankar Shrestha, Gautam Tiwari, Yamanath Kharel, Shiru Bisht, Asha Paudel, and Ayusha Karki, among others.

The screenplay and dialogues are written by Shivam Adhikari, with music composed by S.D. Yogi.

Shree Shrestha has directed the action sequences, Shiv Dhakal handled the cinematography, and Bande Prasad edited the film.
Nationwide distribution is managed by RR Films, while OSR serves as the digital partner.
