The much-awaited Nepali film Jari 2 has generated massive hype among audiences following the release of its trailer.
Within just two days of its YouTube release, the trailer has garnered over 1 million views, along with overwhelmingly positive responses from viewers.
As of this report, the trailer has received over 1 million views, more than 1,100 comments, and over 29,000 likes.
In the comment section, many viewers have expressed their excitement, saying they “can’t wait until Kartik 21” — the film’s release date.
Fans have also praised the chemistry between Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar, while appreciating Vijay Baral for adding special energy to the story.
The trailer hints that the film focuses on the cultural identity of the Limbu community, portraying the social and familial ups and downs surrounding it.
Written and directed by Upendra Subba, the film is produced by Rambabu Gurung, Madhu Mijar, and Jeevan Gurung.
The film stars Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, and Vijay Baral in lead roles, alongside Buddhi Tamang, Richa Sharma, Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Mao Tse Gurung, Manhang Lawati, Bishnu Moktan, Kamalmani Nepal, Anil Subba, Rekha Limbu, Bedana Rai, and Sirjana Ninglekhu.
Produced under the banners of Bansuri Films and Kabaddi Films, Jari 2 is expected to be one of the highest-grossing films of the year.
Its prequel, Jari (2080 BS), was a blockbuster hit, earning over 17 crore rupees at the Nepali box office.
Hence, Jari 2 has been listed among the most anticipated Nepali films of the year.
