‘Hostel 3’ Celebrates 51 Days in India, Continues Screening in Darjeeling

 The third installment of the Nepali film franchise Hostel, which began in Nepal, has successfully expanded the popularity of Nepali cinema among the Nepali community in India.

Having celebrated a historic 51-day run in Nepal, Hostel 3 has now replicated the same success in India.

Since September 5, the film has been continuously screening at SVF Cinema and Rink Mall in Darjeeling, where it has also completed 51 days, according to Indian distributor Suraj Khadka.

In India, Hostel 3 is distributed by Gorkha Film Production and Super Cinema, screening simultaneously in over 50 halls across Sikkim, Darjeeling, Siliguri, Singtam, Guwahati, Assam, and Manipur.

Director Sashan Kandel expressed his joy over the 51-day milestone in India, saying:
“First of all, I want to sincerely thank Durgesh Films for trusting and allowing the production of such a large franchise. My heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone involved in production, distribution, and promotion.”

Hostel 3 portrays the ups and downs of campus life, love, friendship, and struggle, earning significant popularity among the youth.

The film stars Paras Bam Thakuri (Kulboy), Rihan Giri, Padam Tamang, Ashish Ghimire, Simran Pant, Hena Nagarkoti, Sama Parajuli, Umar Khan, Santosh Baniya, and Ashish Purush, among others.

The film is written and co-directed by Madhav Sharma, produced by Suresh Kandel and Govind Adhikari, co-produced by Shishir Gyawali, Anish Sigdel, and Kundan Gupta, with Shankar Koirala as executive producer and Kosis Raj Kshetri as line producer.

Following its commercial success, Hostel 3 is now streaming on Nepal’s leading OTT platform, Cinemagar App.
