Censor Board Grants Universal Rating to “Maan Binako Dhan”

The much-awaited film “Maan Binako Dhan” is set to release this Friday, Kartik 21, and has received a “Universal” certificate from the Film Censor Board.

With this certification, the film can now be viewed by audiences of all age groups.
Most members of the censor board praised “Maan Binako Dhan,” which is based on the story of Ashok Darji, calling it a very well-made film. They also extended their best wishes for its success.

Director Tank Budhathoki shared that the positive response to the trailer has given him great encouragement and expressed confidence that audiences will also love the film.
The trailer has already been viewed more than one million times on YouTube. Owing to the hype created through its promotional materials, the production team expects a promising box-office opening.

The film stars Ashok Darji, Saroj Khanal, Santosh Pant, Rama Thapaliya, Neeta Dhungana, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ramesh Bishwakarma, Rabindra Jha, Parvati Adhikari, Utsav Sapkota, A.R. Budhathoki, Shankar Shrestha, Samragyee Thapa, Bina Raut, Babu Parajuli, Raksha Shrestha, Priyanka Jha, Vinay Adhikari, Aryan Pokharel, and Vijay Dangol, among others.

Director Tank Budhathoki discovered Ashok Darji, who used to sing and beg on the streets, and changed his life through the project “Man Binako Dhan Thulo Ki Dhan Binako Man.”
Ashok is currently studying in grade 9 in Kathmandu. The film, centered around his life and circumstances, carries a strong social message.

Written, produced, and directed by Tank Budhathoki, the story was penned by Budhathoki himself, while the screenplay and dialogues were written by Shivam Adhikari.
Produced under the banner of Tank Budhathoki Production, the film is produced by Bishnumaya Mainali, with Sapana Sharma (Sapana) serving as the executive producer.
Similarly, G.P. Sangrola, Bibek Nepal, and Bijaya Pandey are co-producers.
Tikaram Budhathoki has served as the creative director.

The film features music by Tank Budhathoki, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, choreography by Kaviraj Gahatraj and Ramji Lamichhane, editing by Mitra D. Gurung, and assistant direction by Navaraj Sharma.
The film is being distributed by Apple Entertainment, Reach Entertainment, and FD Company.
