The first look of the film Ramitako Pirati has been unveiled, confirming its release date for Magh 23. Directed by Sudipta, the film is officially set for release on that date.
Actress Aana Sharma plays the lead role in the film, alongside actors Dhiraj Magar and Vinay Shrestha. The movie also marks singer Samir Shrestha’s debut as an actor on the big screen.
Being a female-centric film, the first look showcases Aana Sharma in multiple appearances. She portrays the character Rami, and the story revolves around her life and the people connected to her.
The film is executive-produced by Aana Sharma and Santosh Lamsal, with R.P. Production as an associate producer and Sagar Lamsal as the main producer.
The music for the film is composed by Sushant KC, Samir Shrestha, Mahesh Kafle, Asmita Adhikari, and Kushal Pokhrel.
The film’s cinematography (DOP) is by Shishir Bishankhe, editing by Sunil Sivakoti, color grading by Kapil Parajuli, and choreography by Katik Baral.
Distribution within Kathmandu will be handled by Rich Entertainment and Apple Entertainment, while FD Company will distribute the film outside the capital.
As the chief guest, Dinesh DC, chairman of the Film Development Board, praised the film for carrying a unique story and dimension and extended his best wishes.
Speaking at the event, debut actor Samir Shrestha shared that he joined the project as a musician but later decided to act after being drawn to the storyline.
Similarly, actress Aana Sharma mentioned that she had heard the story four years ago and decided to take part because she found it different.
She added that Ramitako Pirati currently revolves around her life, expressing confidence that audiences will also connect with the film’s narrative.
