Short videos using the song’s lyrics are trending on TikTok, and the production team appears thrilled with its popularity. Director Shovit Basnet expressed his happiness over the song’s growing attention on social media.
Released last Sunday through the Salon Salina YouTube channel, the song has garnered over two thousand likes and continues to gain impressive views. Viewers have largely praised the song for its melody and visuals.
The song features music by Bhim B.C., vocals by Tek B.C. and Preeti Ghimire, and choreography by Ramji Lamichhane. Lead actors Neer Shah and Gauri Malla have impressed audiences with their lively dance performances.
Produced under the banner of Salon Salina Films, the movie stars R.A. Suraj Poudel, Vinita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Puja Chaudhary, Ashma Adhikari Mastani, Bimala Khatri, Ganesh Budhathoki, Max Krishna Thapa, and Naveen Ghyal, with special appearances by Neer Shah, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Khadka, Uttam K.C., and Dikpal Karki.
According to director Basnet, PR is an emotional drama that explores themes of love, struggle, and migration. The story highlights the emotional gap between children living abroad and their parents back home in Nepal.
The film is presented by Ranjit Sah and Santosh Tiwari, produced by Laxman Sapkota and Pradeep Dahal, edited by Bande Prasad, written by Ganesh Budhathoki, and filmed by Saurabh Sayami and Saurabh Lama. R.R. Films is handling distribution.
PR is set for nationwide release on Mangsir 26 (December 11).
