The much-anticipated film “Ram Naam Satya” has officially begun shooting from Ratnanagar, located in eastern Chitwan.
According to director Michael Chand, around 80 percent of the film will be shot in Chitwan. Out of a 50-day schedule, 40 days of filming will take place in Chitwan and the remaining 10 days in Mustang.
The shooting commenced with a special ceremony at the Dharma Dham Krishna Temple in Ratnanagar, inaugurated by Chitwan Police Chief SP Govinda Puri. Line producer Rajendra Acharya expressed that filming in Chitwan will help promote the area as a potential “Film City” and contribute to local tourism.
The film is set to release on Chaitra 27 (April 10).
The cast includes Biraj Bhatt, Sushil Shrestha, Ayush Singh Thakuri, Supuspa Bhatt, Divya Rayamajhi, Asha Paudel, Khushi Karki, Sunil Thapa, Prashant Tamrakar, Kaniz Koirala, Ravi Giri, and Dinesh D.C., with special appearances by Rajendra Acharya, Arjun Sunar, Rameshwar Shah, and Pujan Lamichhane.
The film is produced by Upendra Subba and Sweta Bimali, with Kishor Bhatt and Rajendra Bhatt serving as executive producers. Moti Karki is the creative producer.
The cinematography is handled by Man Krishna Maharjan, action direction by Shree Shrestha, and music by Arjun Pokharel, S.D. Yogi, Bimal Giri, and Nawaz Ansari. Vijay Basyal has designed the publicity materials, while Bidushi Thapa has worked on the production design.
Directed by Michael Chand, the film blends action, suspense, and romance, which the director describes as his “dream project.”
