A new Nepali film titled “Kangal Crorepati” has been announced under the banner of Cinema Pathshala. The film’s official announcement was made during a special event held in Kathmandu.
The film will be produced and directed by Raju Shrestha, who has been active in the Nepali film industry for several years. This project marks his directorial debut. The film is produced by Kaif Khan, with the story, screenplay, and dialogues written by Suman Gajmer.
Actors Umar Khan and Padam Lohar will be seen in the lead roles, while Manoj KC serves as the executive producer. According to director Shrestha, the casting process for other roles is currently underway.
As per the production team, filming is scheduled to begin in the month of Falgun (February/March). The story portrays the contrasting journeys of a common man becoming a millionaire and a millionaire turning penniless.
The filmmakers shared that the movie aims to present these ironies of life and society in an entertaining and thought-provoking way.
